The project
Number Music Revolution is a project oriented to:
– New high-order numerical methods based on a new general and unifying operator: The Rational Mean. No need for derivatives, geometry, decimals, or trial-and-error tests, but just the simplest arithmetic.
– The consonance in music, which is also connected to vibratory modes in the dynamics of structures.
– Analysis of some current beliefs on high-dimensional spaces, the Michelson-&-M experiment, the simultaneity of events, and the theory of special relativity.
– A new General Scheme of Quantity
– Not only technical issues are addressed in this project, but also the true cause of the social and economic problems that overwhelm people abroad, as well as a deep analysis of the resounding failure of the inherited ideologies: Socialism and Capitalism.
This is a space for open minds with common sense, where there is no place for any prostration before neither any imposed ideas, appeal-to-authority arguments, or economic interests.
Domingo Gomez Morin is a structural engineer with more than 30 years working on the analysis and design of structures, with post-graduate courses on numerical methods and dynamics of structures.
The Number Music Revolution and the new numerical methods came to stay, inspiring young people with a critical view of what the books and the academy have imposed in our current educational system.

Mission
To investigate further into the general and unifying concept: the ‘Rational Mean’ or ‘Rational Operator’, as well as:
– High-order rational processes for root approximations of the general algebraic equation.
– The new generalized continued fractions.
– A new general scheme of quantity based on the new rational operator.
– To revisit our concept of Number, and to explore the harmonies of sounds by also using the rational mean concept and modern electronic devices.
– We shall not restrict ourselves just to the study of technical issues, but also to the analysis of the causes that generate all those problems that burden our societies abroad.
– Our scientific proposal also pretends to embrace a new social-economic ideology.
Vision
– The existence of a scheme of quantity for representing all phenomena, that differs from the cartesian system.
– A new system for Number, not based neither on infinitesimals nor on the derivative concept, but just on Number, the Simplest Arithmetic.
– Simple and Natural is better.
– A new system that matches the harmonies of Number and Sound, where the laws of consonance in music are not based on decrees and ancient myths.
– The existence of true musical scales dominated by consonance and supported by true natural-scientific laws.
– A new social-economic ideology for our modern society that differs from inherited failed schemes like socialism and capitalism.

– Never rely on the well-known Appeal-to-Authority fallacy.
– Always question and doubt. Always search again and again, till it gets unveiled.
– There is always another way.
